While the consequences of blocked guttering might be obvious, potential problems from water build up in the longer run – such as pipe damage or even damp walls – make clearing a necessity now and then to have a gutter clearing service. If this is kept on top of it can save you thousands of pounds pipe damage which is unavoidable if it is left unattended.
It’s not exactly the most pleasant of tasks either, made worse by the fact that it’s usually one that must be done at height.
So why not let someone else do it for you? At Green Team, we’re more than happy to provide you with a quote or any advise.
A Green Team member will scale the ladder instead, and remove debris manually with the help of gutter tools that attach to a telescopic extension pole, leaving your gutters clean and free of obstructions.
Green Team can then place the debris in your brown bin after the gutter clearing or, since it’s usually rich in content, distribute it around the borders of your garden or in a suitable compost area. For an extra fee, we can also take it to the local tip.
The same method of gutter clearing is used for both domestic and commercial work, although for heights above 10 metres we use a hydraulic platform instead of a ladder.
